Trinity Grace Places

"For as long as I can remember, I have always been told that I observe, learn, and ask the questions everyone around me is thinking. With my name being Trinity, I have heard many different puns and jokes pertaining to the Godhead and the “3-in-1.” My peers have described me as having energy, boldness, and humor, and I think those qualities have followed me into many of the spaces God has allowed me to enter.

I have had opportunities to speak and serve in different places, from Ecuador to the hills of Pennsylvania, the cities and countryside of Georgia, the oceanfront of Virginia Beach, and the Big Apple. Through it all, I have loved and yearned to steward the presence of God in my mind, heart, body, and soul.

I did not have the most conventional rearing, but early in life, I fell in love with the presence of God. At the age of three, I made a confession of faith and invited and accepted the blood, Lordship, and love of Jesus Christ."

Trinity Afonso is a writer, speaker, and creator of Trinity Grace Places with a heart for the global Church, spiritual formation, healing, and honest conversations about faith and life. Her journey has taken her from Summit International School of Ministry and Lancaster Bible College to C2NEXTGEN and Regent University, where she continued developing her passion for Scripture, leadership, psychology, and culture.

Trinity believes part of her calling is to be an “Elizabeth” who recognizes the Marys and Marthas around her; drawing out the treasure God has placed within others. Through her writing for The Life Builder Journal, she explores faith, identity, healing, re-parenting voices, mental strongholds, and what it means to live missionally for the Kingdom of God.

At the heart of Trinity Grace Places is a simple desire: to create room for the questions people are already thinking and conversations that lead us closer to truth, one another, and Jesus.
