Welcome to The Life Builder Journal

The phrase “In the middle of the limit” came to me one night and wouldn’t let go. It sounded simple, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized how true it is for life. We all hit points where we feel stretched, stuck, or unsure, moments when we’ve done all we can, and there’s still more ahead. That middle space, between what we can control and what we can’t, is where we learn who we really are.

I think about Elijah’s story in 1 Kings 19. After his biggest success came his biggest breakdown. He went from calling down fire to running for his life, hiding in a cave, and telling God he’d had enough. That’s “the middle of the limit” when you’ve hit your wall but still have to keep moving. And it’s there, not in the chaos or the noise, that Elijah heard God’s quiet voice. It reminds me that even when life feels out of balance, something steady is still guiding us forward.

That same truth is what you’ll find here at The Life Builder Journal. Each article is written to meet you right in that middle place the space between struggle and breakthrough, question and clarity. What you read here will be honest, practical, and guided by the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture. My hope is that as you read, reflect, and rebuild, you’ll discover that even in life’s limits, God is still present, still speaking, and still building something new in you.
